WFPK's Waterfront Wednesday for June will feature Hayes Carll, Dylan LeBlanc and Brenda.  Texan Hayes Carll's style of roots-oriented songwriting has been noted for its plainspoken poetry and sarcastic humor (it says here.). He was nominated for a 2016 Grammy Award for Best Country Song, and American Songwriter awarded him with Song of the Year for “Another Like You” in 2011, the same year he was nominated for Artist of the Year at the Americana Awards. LeBlanc is a Sheveport boy who's making his way up the ladder of musical success. Germantown's Brenda plays "shotgun house rock" and is still promoting their first, self-titled, album.
