The alternative rock band Failure, which wasn't, comes to the Mercury Ballroom on August 7, having reassembled after a hiatus that lasted some sixteen or so years. Really. They have a new record, The Heart Is A Monster, for your consideration. (Just to jog your memory, their most recent album before this one was 1996's Fantastic Planet.That would suggest that their youngest fans from the earlier years  are now in their thirties and forties.)
