The Freakwater team (Catherine Irwin, Janet Beveridge Bean, David Wayne Gay plus supporting players) comes home for a Derby Week show (a great excuse to get to town for Derby, hey?) with Jaye Jayle and Drunken Prayer at The New Vintage on Thursday, April 30. Even though it seems that the band is defunct - given their infrequent shows - they are scheduled to release a new record later this year, so you might hear some new music at the New Vintage gig.
