The MERF Booty-Shakin' Fest, 2015 edition, gets funky at Stevie Ray's on Sunday, May 31. This event is also a blast, featuring the some of the best of Louisville's blues band, incuding the Kingbees, Laurie Jane & THe 45's, Mississippi Adam Riggle D Man & The Alley Hounds PLUS direct from the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex, former Louisvillian Sam "Shake" Anderson, backed by a band of his friends, who are some of the best players in the city. For this show, we expect no airport glitches as happened last November. All proceeds benefit MERF, the Musician's Emergency Resource Foundation, which assists musicians who are down on their luck. Tickets are $7 and the show starts at 5 p.m., so come early, stay to the end and still get home in time for a decent night's sleep. Check out this video from his last NULU Festival appearance:
