The Mighty Kindness Earth Day Festival is happening at the Brown-Forman Amphitheater on the Waterfront on April 11. Among the many attractions will be Appalatin, The Honey Vines, Moonlight Peddlers, The Afrophysicists, Nellie Pearl, Cher Von, The Hart Strings, Alex Wright and Tyrone Cotton. There'll be all many of booths and people of every rainbow stripe in attendance. It's the closest thing to an old-fashioned "happening" that you are likely to find in the city. Best of all, it's FREE. The event runs Noon to 7 p.m. Don't be late!
