Jambands come in all sizes and genres these days, with a particular flavor initiated by Newgrass Revival, to wit, jamgrass, which features as practitioners such bands as String Cheese Incident, Greensky Bluegrass, The Infamous Stringdusters and Diamond Pub's featured act on Saturday, November 22, Cornmeal. Cornmeal is a Chicago quintet-plus which began in 2000 and has proven themselves festival warriors, indeed, with stints at Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Magnolia Fest, Wakarusa Music Festival and Summer Camp Music Festival as well as having performed on multiple stages at Bonnaroo, All Good Music Festival, High Sierra Music Festival and 10K Lakes over the past fourteen years. They've released four albums, the last two "live" records. They've changed personnel a time or two or three, but still crank out that new old-fashioned, highspeed jamgrass. The Rumpke Mountain Boys will open. Tickets are $12 adv/ $15 DoS.
