Set for September 20 at the Brown-Forman Amphitheatre on the Waterfront, this year's festival has Maria Muldaur & the Garden Of Joy Jug Band - yes, that Maria Muldaur, who was a member of Jim Kweskin & The Jug Band before she had that hit with "Midnight At THe Oasis" - The Juggernaut Jug Band, Drunken Catfish Ramblers, Steel City Jug Slammers, The Jake Leg Stompers, Cincinnati Dancing Pigs, the Brotherhood Of The Jug Band Blues, The Hokum High Rollers and Bones Jugs N Harmony. This year, there'll be copies of Michael L. Jones' new. just published history of Louisville jug bands, titled Louisville Jug Music: From Earl McDonald To the National Jubilee, for sale. The festival itself is free - free- free. It starts at Noon and runs until 11 p.m. Whoot!
