St. Lucia, born in South Africa but now living in Brooklyn, is out on the road with his first album When The Night, with a tour titled The Night Comes Again . Basically a remixer, he's paired with the Rochester, NY, electronic indie rock band called Joywave. For this tour, he does seem to have a band. Despite the fact that Joywave has only a single album, 2012's Koda Vista, they have scored big with "Dangerous," a collaboration with Big Data which reached the top of the heap on the US Alternative chart in 2012. Their next one, "Tongues," featuring KOPPS, has done fairly well, with the NSFW video snagging 150,000 views as of July. Taken together, it's tricky to decide which act should be the headliner, though St. Lucia is, as the producer. They're at Headliners on September 26 and tickets are $15.
