Josh Ritter will do a two-night stand at Kentucky Country Day Theatre, September 20 & 21. Ritter has been a restless sort of troubador, perhaps even old-school, in that he has lived in a number of different cities and traveled to a number of countries in pursuit of his muse. He has now recorded seven studio albums, the last 2013's The Beast In Its Tracks, along with four live albums and a number of EPs. His music has been on a number of other artists" albums, as well as on television. His connection to Louisville includes having married Louisvillian Dawn Landes, from whom he is now divorced. On the current tour, he will be trying out some new songs as well as his older material. Tickets to the show are $29-$9.
