This year's Worldfest celebration on the Belvedere kicks off on August 29, with full schedule of music, dancers, ethnic food of every sort, vendors selling items from the cultures represented by the many immigrants living in Louisville. It continues through September 1, so you'll lots of opportunities to get downtown. Louisville has a number of fine ethnic festivals (Yea! to St. Michael's) but this one is the granddaddy of all of them. Best of all, it's a free event. Check out the Friday schedule below:
