Dreamland venue was established specifically to book acts not otherwise likely to find gigs in Louisville. Naturally,  this includes some of the more exotic jazz combos, which is pretty much the subtagline for the July 23 show, a tour entitled "Washington D.C. Jazz Collective Night" and featuring Aaron Quinn's Liver Quiver, Sarah Hughes Saxophone Quartet, Brad Linde's Underwater Ghost and Billy Wolfe's Composer's Octet. Various of these groups will play separately and together, mix and match style. This is so far outside this writer's area of expertise that I'll just leave it at that. Tickets are $7.
