John Butler Trio, led by - well - John Butler. It's been seven years since they made a stop in Louisville, playng Headliners and ear X-tacy on that occasion. Of course, it requires some serious plannning to make the journey, so we should not be too judgmental. They've scored a number of wins in Australia song awards, including the Australian Recording Industry Association (for Best Blues & Roots Album, twice) and the J Awards, from an Australian national youth radio station. They have a just-released album, Flesh & Blood, to promote. They'll be doing so at the Iroquois Amphitheater on July 31. Tickets are $30.
