Headliners is staging a country music show on August 29, featuring the exceptionally handsome Jason Michael Carroll along with Jeni Carr and J. D. Shelburne. Carroll got his start at a Houston talent competition, which led to Arista Nashville signing him in 2006. His first record, Waitin' In The Country, yielded three top 40 hits. His next produced two more, then he and Arista "parted ways." His third record, Numbers, is distributed via Cracker Barrel stores. Shepherdsville's Carr and Taylorsville's Shelburne have been having some success in Nashville, though it remains an uphill battle for both. Tickets to the show are $15.
