Shows Of Note
Saturday, November 25, 2017

Pitchfork tagged them this way: " At their best, they locate that revered midpoint between "nerd" and "numbskull." On November 25. Anemic Royalty BOA and Wicked Garden open. Tickets are $15. Here's a video, titled "Judy French":

Atlanta rapper 21 Savage, known for his mixtapes more than albums, charges into the Mercury Ballroom on November 28, with the "Numb the Pain" tour. By way of establishing his cred, note that he was member of the Bloods gang and committed numerous criminal acts with them. In 2013, on his 21st birthday, 21 Savage was shot six times and his best friend was killed during an attempted robbery. Now he practices Ifá, otherwise known as the Yoruba religion. He's promoting a couple of albums released in 2017, Issa Album and Without Warning. Probably not an ideal role model. The show is SOLD OUT, so you'll need some insider connections to get tix now.
