Ben Thornewill and Jukebox the Ghost got a shout-out from a Metromix/Greensboro blogger. These days, Jim James seems to be all over everybody’s project, particularly compilation albums. He’ll be part of a project from the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, titled Preservation, an Album Benefiting Preservation Hall and Its Music Outreach Program, along with Tom Waits, Pete Seeger, Merle Haggard, Andrew Bird, Ani DiFranco, Steve Earle, Richie Havens, Jason [...] The Chicagoist site reports that early next year, Walt Disney Records will release Muppets Revisited, a collection of Sesame Street/Muppets tunes covered by current artists and bands, including My Morning Jacket , with “Our World.” …you get to be a character on an animated TV show.
