Once more , the old LMN budget didn’t quite cover the costs of two big concerts for the weekend, but never fear, the C-J will review what’s big. Herewith, J. L. Puckett’s review of the Monsters of Folk Halloween show. Marty Rosen drew the short straw and had to go cover Miley Cyrus.

This week’s Velocity cover story features a peculiar selection of clubs and performers in the Louisville area on June 27 and 28. Really peculiar, although I didn’t check their choices against Velocity’s ad list. Everybody has their preferences…but it’s really just impossible to get it all into one story, even a long one.
