Over at Velocity, Joe Lord does the cover story honors for the Terrastock 7 Festival. At LEO, T. E. Lyons does the same thing.

Mat Herron has some text and Frankie Steele has photos from the MMJ in-store. Lyons has a Blondie phoner. Aaron Frank has a review of the new Interstates project.

Continuing with LEO, Aaron Frank has a phoner with Mark Kozelek, who’s playing at the 930 Listening Room on Saturday. Finally, intern Cassie Bock previews the Lee Boys Sacred Steel show at Headliners on Friday.

The headliner for the Fifth Third Bank Waterfront Independence Festival on July 4 and 4 depends entirely on your favorite music genre, as there is, as they say, something for everyone. 2008 Virgin Mobile Festival at Pimlico Has Something-For-All Lineup

The 2008 Virgin Mobile Festival, set for August 9 and 10 at Pimlico Racetrack in Baltimore, has a lineup with something for everyone, including oldsters: Chuck Berry, by God, is on the list, along with Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, Nine Inch Nails, Kanye West and Stone Temple Pilots; Bob Dylan, Wilco, The Offspring, Iggy Pop & The Stooges and more and more. Might be worth a road trip.

Caesar’s Outdoor Summer Concert Series

    It had to happen, with the cost of concerts continuing to peak out in the tripe digits - the venue and event company Live Nation has teamed up with Citi to create a concert-goers credit card. In addition to the usual 18%-24% interest rates, “Citi cardmembers will have access to presales and premium seats for select shows and can also access exclusive merchandise and experiences,” says Vik Atal, chairman and CEO, Citi Cards.

    Insomniacathon 2008 Tickets Unofficially on Sale Today

    Don’t tell anybody I told you this, but tickets for the Insomniacathon 2008 will be on sale - unofficially - today, beginning at about 3 p.m. at ear X-tacy Records. Insomniacathon 2008 is set for April 11 and 12 - plus it will slop over into April 13 - at the Rudyard. Tell ‘em Ron sent you. Tickets will be on sale officially on March 15.
