Executive Director of the Louisville Youth Orchestra Melody Welsh-Buchholz has been elected chairman of the Youth Orchestra Division of the League of American Orchestras. In this position she will also serve as an ex-officio board member of the League. Founded in 1942, the League of American Orchestras serves member symphony, chamber, youth and university orchestras of all sizes and supports a network of thousands of administrators, board members, musicians, conductors, volunteers, and business partners.
