The C-J’s Southern Indiana writer Dale Moss wrote a very nice piece on Ivan Guernsey, brother of fiddler Jeff Guernsey and builder of resonator guitars. In addition to his luthier work, Ivan plays the resonator and was in the excellent bluegrass band Storefront Congregation. Willis Music in J-Mall is scheduling live, acoustic, in-store performances, beginning this month. Willis will provide gear and performers can sell CDs and merch.
