The word from members of Surviving Thalia is that the David “Sailor” Bryant project is closing up shop for good, due to complications from living. Two final shows are being planned. Christopher Boone shared these photos from the Steve Ferguson benefit on August 23. Click for larger image. Stopped by the Leatherhead shop today for my monthly chat with Nick and Lynn. Black Label Society frontman Zakk Wylde was diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs and was admitted to a Eugene, Oregon hospital. He and his band have dropped off the Pedal To The Metal tour, which is scheduled into Coyote’s on September 11. The tour will continue with Mudvayne, Static-X, Suicide Silence and Bury [...] I haven’t checked Bob Lefsetz’s site in a while, but today I did and, sure enough, he has another pointed piece on the state of the music business that’s worth a read. |
