The University of Louisville School of Music presents a steady supply of excellent musical programing at Comstock Hall, in styles ranging from jazz (lots of jazz) to orchestral to chamber pieces to assorted world music. Andrew Adler is thunderstruck by just this month’s calendar.

Marty Rosen got the Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys assignment, which is good, given his good Louisiana connections (at least foodie-wise). He liked that fact that the band came to play, not party.
