Marty Rosen, who, unlike other Louisville reviewers, has a degree in music, caught the Del McCoury/Marty Stuart show at the Brown Saturday night. His review, published in the Courier-Journal, is as thorough and informed as any review of a bluegrass show I think I’ve ever read. Check it out here. J. L. Puckett reviewed the Michael McDonald/Louisville Orchestra show at the Palace Theatre for the C-J. He liked it, by and large, though he said the song selection made for an up-and-down concert. |
