I’m tired of [...] Clear Channel Communications is continuing it’s planned divestiture of radio stations (448 radio stations in 88 markets); the company announced deals involving 201 stations in 38 markets, according to a story at FMQB.com Clear Channel’s Divestiture Update lists the Frankfort, KY market as part of the divestiture process. The company owns two stations, talk [...] While the palms are grabbed and greased in D.C. and things are looking a bit brighter for the opponents of the webcaster royalty increase, the Radio and Internet Newsletter (RAIN) is putting the ‘Day of Silence’ on hold. It had been set for May 8. Stay tuned. Filtering for mainstream appeal isn’t much of a filter… Nothing’s happening but the Derby. Really. |
